Terra Soma is a landscape design studio based in Portland, OR creating spaces that connect people to place.

Using plants and natural materials, and aspiring to do more with less, Terra Soma works with what already exists in a space, honoring what and who came before us, and prioritizing long-term resilience and ease of maintenance in the garden.

Terra Soma utilizes a naturalistic design approach, and materials that are in close proximity to the end site, including a plant palette composed primarily of West Coast natives, as well as resilient, summer-dry, plants from regions outside of the West Coast. 

Terra Soma is the landscape design practice of artist and sound designer, Clint Snow, whose expertise and interests, led by curiosity and play, focus on exploring the way our environments make us feel. Inspired by the relationship between people and place and the ways they evolve together; always growing into themselves, never complete and always complete, always changing, always refining, healing, ripening, returning.
