When creating gardens and outdoor living spaces, the initial focus in every project is to ensure that it’s a good fit. Pricing is set to honor the time and experience of everyone involved, while also accounting for your budget. Cost varies with each project and depends on the scope of work, but some general starting places are detailed below. We can work together on as many or as few of the phases listed, approaching your project from consultation all the way through garden maintenance, or, instead, focusing on a single phase together.
Phase 1
Consultation $100
One hour walk through of your space to discuss your goals, design, layout, plants or any other issues you may need help with.
Phase 2
Design
Depending on your needs this may be a simple concept plan drawing that showcases the layout, materials, structural/architectural plants (no names yet, just size and location), or a more detailed master plan drawing and plant list. All plans are hand drawn to scale.
Phase 3
Install
As a licensed, bonded and insured landscape contractor, Terra Soma can install your garden to the specifications of the approved final design plan, handling planting and hardscape as needed, and overseeing the project to completion. Build pricing is the most variable element and fluctuates project to project, taking into account materials and the complexity of the site and project. We will work together with you to establish and agree on clear budgets, remaining transparent and communicative throughout the project.
Phase 4
Garden Maintenance $600/quarterly
A quarterly visit to your garden that includes planting, watering, weeding, pruning and general maintenance of your outdoor space. This price does not include plant or material purchases. This service can be tailored to your specific garden needs.
